Anthony Sperazzo, Principal

Anthony has served as principal since 2015. Prior to that, he served as the assistant principal at Gilford High School and Middle School. He began his career as a physical educator and wellness teacher at GMS. 
Anthony received his undergraduate, graduate, and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) from Plymouth State University. He holds certifications as a physical educator, curriculum coordinator, principal, and superintendent. Anthony has been deeply involved with the Portrait of a Learner work at GHS and connects the work, in the classroom, to the POL attributes (collaborate, critically think, self-direct, innovate) that are critical for success in life. Anthony, also, has a passion for connecting and bringing educators and administrators together and often hosts roundtable discussions that are pertinent to education. 
Aside from his professional work at GHS, Anthony is a council member of the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association where he makes policy decisions for athletics for the state of New Hampshire. He is also a Commissioner for the New England Association for Schools and Colleges organiztion. Anthony lives with his wife and three children in Gilford, where they can be seen outdoor running, biking, hiking, and boating on Lake Winnipesaukee.
