  • 6/16/17 Good Evening- We sent our seniors off in style last Saturday at Graduation in a beautiful event. Today, the rest of the students have all started their summer break. I hope they all have a restful, safe, and fun summer. In the coming weeks, I will send out a link for our current 9th grade students (10th grade next year) because they will have summer reading. Our incoming freshmen also have summer reading. This has already been shared with students; however, I hear that sometimes not all information makes it home. J In two more years, everyone will have summer reading. Also coming soon will be the fall athletic start up schedule coming from our Director of Athletics ...

  • 6/9/17 Good Evening-Our school celebrated our graduating seniors this week with their Senior Yearbook dinner, Senior Awards ceremony last evening, their final walk as a student at GHS as they were clapped out, and a school assembly this morning. It will conclude with their Graduation at the Bank of NH Pavilion at 10:00am tomorrow morning.   • 6/2/17 Good Evening-What an incredible week it’s been and it only gets better next week with Senior Week!Our girl’s track and field team had a number of individual successes this past weekend at the Division III state meet. Lauren Dean won the 400. Marina Baer won the javelin. The 4 x 100 relay team won and broke the school record (Kaitlyn Callahan, Natalie Fraser, Brianna Fraser, Lauren Dean) while the 4 x 400 also won the division (Natalie Fraser, Brianna Fraser, Lauren Dean, Laurel Gingrich). With so many of these student-athletes so young, there is a lot of hope over the next few years. Congratulations girls!Our boy’s tennis team captured the Division III state ...

  • 5/26/17 Good Evening- Last night, many of our students received recognition at the HUOT Celebration of Achievement. 11 of our students received scholarships. Congratulations to the following students for earning a scholarship...Emily Hayden, Connor Perkins, Nathan Cobis, Lucia Parent, Jazmine Plummer-Spooner, Connor Craigie, Brad Parker, Cameron Fraser, Jackson Laflamme, Joseph Bonnell, and Mary Davis.  Our boy’s tennis team will be competing for another state title on Tuesday, May 30th at 4:00 at the Derryfield School. Good win today! More info for state tournaments comes out Tuesday from the NHIAA. National Honor Society is once again sponsoring the “Run To Remember” 5K on May 29th.   • 5/19/17 Good Evening-You’re getting this early because tomorrow is action packed with students in classes until 11:45, staff members are involved with staff development after that, and we cap the night off with the Prom march beginning promptly at 5:30 at the GHS gymnasium before leaving the Weirs docks at 7:00 for Prom. This goes until 10:00. As I’ve asked in my recent parent updates, please speak with your child about what they’re doing and where they’ll be if they’re going out after Prom.
