Good Evening,

The excitement is starting to build as we gear up for Homecoming next week. Wednesday and Thursday evening will be a time for our classes to collaborate at spirit hallways in the gym from 5:30-7:30Saturday, we host many athletic events on our campus. During the Homecoming games, the athletic teams will be collecting food donations for the local food pantry for New Hampshire Tackles Hunger.

Speaking of donations, thank you to all of the students, parents, and community members that contributed to the Hurricane Harvey relief effort that the Interact and NHS organizations led.

Another area that our students impressed us is with their Advanced Placement results we received this summer. 87% of all GHS AP students received a 3 or better on their exam compared to 71% at the state level and 60% globally. This year we have 51 students challenging themselves with the most rigorous curriculum that we offer.

Lynn Lyons will be speaking at our auditorium on Tuesday, September 26th from 6-8pm about anxiety. I encourage you and your child to attend. Have a great weekend.
