Today, our sophomores listened to a group present about the HUOT program. This is a remarkable program that we hope meets the needs of some of our students who learn best with the hands-on-approach. About 80 students attend the HUOT from GHS for two periods as day. If they’re interested, there is a planned field trip for February 7th. The Gustavus Wind Orchestra from Gustavus Adolphus College in MN, will be visiting GHS on and presenting workshops to band students in grades 7-12 that afternoon and morning in the middle school. They will also be presenting a concert in combination with the GHS Symphonic Band , which is free and open to the public. evening in the auditorium at
