Journalism Education Foundation of New England Scholarship

Deadline: Received by March 3, 2017. EXTENDED DEADLINE: MARCH 17, 2017.  Award: $1000. Applicants must be a resident of New England, and be a graduating senior in high school planning to attend college in the following year for journalism or a related field.  Applicants can also be undergraduate college students who are currently studying journalism or a related field.  Applicants must have a GPA of at least 3.0, and will have to demonstrate a serious interest in a career in journalism by sending the following materials: cover letter, transcript, resume or biography, letter of recommendation; AND a body of work published in a school news publication, general circulation newspaper or a similar publication; AND/OR a body of work prepared for a journalism class.  Applications may be found under the Student tab of the nenpa.com website, or may be picked up in the School Counseling office.
