Why Teaching?

"I enjoy teaching because of the students. It's rewarding to see their growth from day to day, especially when you observe a student having an 'ah-ha' moment when they are able to understand a concept that they had been previously struggling with. The positive relationships I have built and will continue to build with the students of GHS drives my passion for teaching. High schoolers also seem to get my dry sense of humor!"

What Classes Do You Teach?

"I currently teach Algebra I and Precalculus, but, I've also taught Algebra 2 and Geometry as well. It's fun to teach an array of math classes because I am afforded the opportunity to teach a wide range of students;  it's nice to get to know everybody!"

What Makes GHS So Special?

"GHS is a special place because of a combination of the students, my colleagues and the community. It's a great school where everyone knows your name and is willing to help you out whenever you need it. It truly feels like a work environment where I am 'at home.'"
