Amy Tripp: Physical Education and Health 

   About Amy:
  • Grew up in Tauranga, New Zealand.
  • Enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, coaching, traveling, and getting together with friends.
  • She welcomes the opportunity to help any student with health/nutrition/fitness.
   High School Memories: 
  • Favorite subject was physical education because she excelled at it.
  • Sports: Volleyball and basketball. 
  • Yearbook
  • Otago University, New Zealand. 
  • Majored in: Physical Education. 
  • Grad School: Currently enrolled in master's degree program for Health Education at Plymouth State University.
Why Teaching?

"I feel like I make a difference in young peoples lives in a positive, healthy way. When I see all the negative in the world I feel like I can at least help young people in a small way and that gives me hope, motivation, and satisfaction."

What Classes Do You Teach? 

"Physical Education-PE/Fitness, Personal Fitness, Life guarding, and Conditioning for Maximum Performance.

What Makes GHS So Special?

"The faculty, students, and administration for the most part are positive and work together to help students thrive and prepare for life after high school."
